Grades 6 - 8 All sessions meet Mondays through Thursdays of two consecutive weeks: 12:30 - 2:00 Remember: Grade levels indicated are only a general guideline. Grades 6-8 October 16-26 Narrative Writing Through guided exploration of Ideas, students in the workshop will construct a story. The writers will determine whether to go with Creative Writing or an actual story accounting of true events. Coaching is provided throughout the writing process. Grades 6-8 ***CANCELED DUE TO PERSONAL FAMILY NEEDS*** December 4-14 Revisions/Editing with a Writing Coach Students are invited to bring previously written pieces to the workshop to revisit them with me in a "Writing Conference" format for feedback. I've added a twist to my Writing Workshops for middle school students. This is appealing particularly for the purpose of "mixing it up" and "adding spice" to an everyday routine of Language Arts. Therefore, I've designed each workshop with an integrated Reading/Language Arts approach. All writing projects and lessons are connected and created from the featured book.
